Rusticated granite headstone with "BIGGER" on the west side of the stone and the epitaph on the other side.
Biography

A notice of his death appeared in The Gastonia Gazette on Wednesday, February 28, 1951.

The Bethel Community was shocked to learn of the death of Dr. David A. Bigger, a native of Bethel, who died early Tuesday at his home at Rock Hill.  A large number of Bethel residents attended burial serves at Bethel Cemetery.

Present for the services were his brother, Dr. Ike Bigger of Richmond, Va., three sisters, Mrs. Mary Tweed of Columbia, S.C., Mrs. Rosa Mills of Fort Mill, S.C., and Miss Helen Bigger of Richmond.
