Biography

OBITUARY....
John Andrew  "John Andy" Glenn, 76, one of the most highly respected and prominent citizens of the Bethel community, died January 15, 1929 at the Presbyterian Hospital, Charlotte, NC.  He had been ill for many months.
Mr. Glenn was born April 11, 1852 to the late James Henry Glenn and Sarah Emeline McGill Glenn.
Funeral service was held at Bethel Presbyterian Church, Clover, SC officiated by Rev. A. H. Key. Interment was in Bethel Church Cemetery.
He was first married to Martha Ann Simril Glenn, deceased, but they had one daughter, Mrs. H. P. Stowe, who survived Mr. Glenn. To his second marriage to Frances C. Glenn, deceased, six children survive, Mesdames A. H. Barnett, Thomas Sparrow, Jr., and Andrew Sifford, Miss Sara Glenn , Mr. Clarence Glenn and Mr. David Glenn.
