Biography

Sallie E. Glenn Stanton, beloved wife of David G. Stanton, died Sunday morning, October 22, 1893, age 40 years and 20 days, in the Bethel community.
She lived a life of self-denying faith; she bore meekly the chastening of long sickness; she died in peace, in full hope of a blessed immortality.
A life of wondrous beauty and loveliness has ceased on earth, to be renewed and perpetuated in heaven. "Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord; for they rest from their labors and their works do follow them."
