Marble tablet with a bronze plaque flush with the ground in front of the tablet. The bronze has the following verbiage: "JOHN GLENN/PVT/MAJ RICHARD J HOWARD/CO OF ARTY/WAR OF 1812/MAR 8 1792 [a cross] NOV 27 1854
